An exchange used an experimental AI system that resulted in clear malicious misinformation being spread about the PROMPT token. The exchange has acknowledged that this was an error and that the information was based on social media posts with no verification whatsoever. The system has since been removed, but we acknowledge that once misinformation has propagated through social media, it is impossible to un-ring the bell.We hope to work more closely with our partners and be aware of their roll-outs of experimental features in the future before they happen. We apologize to our community for any negative effect that this has had on the sentiment around the Wayfinder project.
