ChainCatcher 消息，Vitalik Buterin 发文表示，其再次向动物福利基金捐赠 64 枚 ETH，并呼吁更多人关注动物福利问题。Vitalik 称，人类对数十亿动物造成的痛苦仍是当前社会较少被讨论的重要问题之一，但其对本世纪改善动物生存状况持乐观态度，认为农业方式与合成替代食品均在持续进步。
他还表示，近年来全球素食与纯素食食品的品质已有明显提升。此外，Vitalik 还特别提到虾类福利问题，称外界往往低估相关议题的重要性，并提及“眼柄切除术”等养殖操作。
