受人工智能冲击，翻译工具DeepL计划裁员25%
Odaily星球日报讯 开发翻译工具的德国初创公司 DeepL 宣布，计划裁减约 25%的员工。公司首席执行官 Jarek Kutylowski 将此举归因于人工智能带来的“巨大结构性转变”。Kutylowski 周四在 LinkedIn 发文称，约 250 名员工将被裁撤。公司目前员工总数略高于 1000 人。随着 AI 工具取代传统上由程序员完成的工作，同时科技公司将资源重新投入自身 AI 产品建设，整个科技行业的裁员规模正在迅速扩大。Meta 上月宣布计划裁减 10%员工。微软则向约 7%的美国员工提供买断方案。DeepL 成立于 2017 年，最初定位为谷歌翻译的竞争对手，提供帮助开发者构建多语言应用的工具。近年来，该公司还需面对 ChatGPT 及其他 AI 工具提供的翻译服务竞争。DeepL 于 2024 年融资 3 亿美元，估值达到 20 亿美元，并曾考虑在美国 IPO。(金十)
