What Are Event Contracts
During the contract's life, users can sell their shares on the order book at any time to lock in gains or cut losses — no need to hold until expiry. MR6 takes half of the maximum loss under 2 scenarios. For example, the MR6 of the BTC-USD risk unit is half of the maximum loss when BTC-USD moves + 30% or – 30%, whichever is larger. If the risk unit only contains perpetual and expiry futures, MR6 equals MR1.
