Our beloved crypto markets seem to be at a bit of a precipice.
Was ruminating on this during my barefoot moon-maxxing walk last night after sunset :)
On the one hand we have the Altcoin Season Index...
It is extremely elevated right now, which usually signals a good time to sell.
At the same time though, the macro picture is looking absolutely exquisite, with rate cuts set to commence and MOVE (bond volatility index) hitting an extremely significant low. (h/t @noahseidman for his focus on this)
In addition, Bitcoin has been rangebound for several months.
As a result, I am inclined to attribute the Altcoin Season Index to the $ETH and $SOL DAT's that have been pumping those and their associated beta.
And I am still quite long.
I think its very possible we continue like this for another couple months as the DAT stuff plays out, and from there the larger macro picture will dictate what comes next.
Either way though I remain insanely bullish for the next three years - as I think Trump is going to keep pumping crypto as high as he can.
In addition...
-Lower interest rates (mostly next year) will allow homeowners to access a ton of equity, some of which will certainly flow into the crypto markets, and...
-There is $7.5T in money market funds currently earning high yield due to short end rates being so low... once rates come down though I think a significant % of this could flow into risk assets as well...
So yeah, on the fatalistic side the Weimerica 'Roaring 20's' narrative rolls on...
And on the idealistic side crypto rails continue to subsume the legacy system...
And I think its very likely we all wake up one day years from now and there's a whole bunch of quality defi tokens that are all over $100B market cap...
So, in short... I am as bullish as ever :)
