英国央行将接受稳定币申请，将其视为新形式的货币
ChainCatcher 消息，据 Decrypt 报道，英国央行执行董事 Sasha Mills 表示，英国央行将稳定币视为“一种新形式的货币”，不会在代币化存款和稳定币之间“挑选赢家”。Mills 称，英国央行将于年底开放“系统性稳定币”的申请，这类稳定币广泛用于支付，可能对金融稳定构成风险，将由央行监管。金融行为监管局支付与数字资产总监 Matthew Long 表示，其他稳定币由 FCA 监管，英镑计价的稳定币仍有发挥作用的空间。Mills 还指出，全球 99% 的稳定币以美元计价且不符合美国 GENIUS 法案，英国在时间表上与美国同步。
