How do I reset Two-factor authentication (2FA)?

If your security settings (phone/email/authenticator app) are unavailable and need to be reset, withdrawals and C2C selling will be disabled for 24 hours after the reset.
While logged in, go to your profile, select Account settings - Security - under Verification Methods, choose the security verification item you wish to reset.

If you are not logged in, enter your account and password to log in. On the identity verification page, click Unable to verify? - Reset Two-Factor Authentication, and select the security verification item you wish to reset.

Scenario 1: You are not logged in

On the login page, enter your account and password, then click Login. On the identity verification code input page, click Unable to verify?.

Click Reset Two-Factor Authentication, select the security verification item to reset: Reset Phone / Reset Email / Reset Authenticator App, and follow the instructions to complete the process.

Scenario 2: You are logged in

Open the App homepage, tap the top left to enter your profile --- Account settings --- Security --- Email Verification --- Change Email Address.

Unable to verify --- select the security verification item to reset; here, take Reset Phone as an example.

Enter the required Email Verification and Authenticator App Code, click Confirm --- Authenticate Now, and follow the instructions to complete identity verification (including facial recognition) and bind your new phone number or email.

  • For your asset security, after resetting or changing your phone/email, withdrawals (including internal transfers and sending gifts) and C2C selling will be disabled for 24 hours.
